Do you provide shipping boxes to protect my belongings?
With our international delivery services, we offer double-walled cardboard boxes to protect your shipment on its journey to Cambodia. Our customers' favourite delivery containers are Large (ideal for soft items like bedsheets and pillows) and Standard (for small, heavier items). See below for the exact dimensions. Order more boxes than needed, and we'll pick up any that are unused and in brand-new condition for free.
Specially shaped containers made from the same quality materials are available for the delivery of larger items, such as golf clubs and surfboards. Suitably prepare them, and we'll box them at our closest depot.
You can use your own containers if you wish. But please avoid laundry bags, plastic crates, used food boxes and bin liners. Such weak containers break easily, causing damage to the rest of your shipment.

The customs clearance process in Cambodia explained
Our Boxes and Bags Worldwide service takes the stress out of the customs clearance process in Cambodia for you. But there are a few essential things to be aware of.
Like all countries, Cambodia has restricted items to protect its people and the environment. Reference our Prohibited Goods page before packing your luggage delivery to avoid fines or delays.
Next, log in to your account and complete the following:
- An inventory that lists all items and containers you are shipping. The Cambodian customs office will see it, so please ensure accuracy.
- Optional insurance forms for cover in the rare chance your delivery shipment is lost or damaged.
- Colour scans of the shipment owner's passport picture and signature pages.
Returning nationals taking up permanent residence, Cambodian government workers, NGOs and those with diplomatic status, are exempt from customs tax when shipping used personal items to Cambodia. Otherwise, you will need to pay 35% of the total value of your delivery shipment in customs taxes.
Top tip: avoid packing your belongings in their original boxes, as customs authorities may consider them brand new and tax them.
Please reference the Cambodian General Department of Customs and Excise website for the latest information before packing your delivery. Our multilingual customer service team are available around the clock to offer support and answer any luggage delivery questions.

Securely ship boxes, bags and more with our expert packing guide
Packing your luggage delivery well before sending it to Cambodia is essential. Avoid potential damage worries by hiring a professional packing service to do it for you. Otherwise, take plenty of time and follow our 4 top packing tips below. For more in-depth advice, check out How to choose a box for shipping and Preparing large items for collection.
Secure your delivery boxes:
Gather all your packing materials, like parcel tape and a cutting knife. Seal the base of your box by first folding in the small flaps, then the large flaps and sealing them with three layers of overlapping parcel tape.
Cover any remaining exposed edges with more tape, and then wrap them around the bottom for extra protection. Once full of possessions, secure the lid in the same manner.
Be careful with valuable items:
Use bubble wrap on everything and three or four layers for fragile goods. Place your heaviest items along the bottom of your delivery box, then put lighter things above them and away from the sides.
Fill gaps with cushioning materials like towels, clothes or packing paper. Then, give the box a little shake. If you hear anything, add more cushioning materials until it stops.
Complete your inventory:
Log in to your online account and fill out your inventory, a list of every item you're shipping to Cambodia. Customs officials will see it, so accuracy is essential to avoid fines and delays.
Using a marker pen, write the job number, box number, and shipment owner's destination city and country on two sides of each delivery container. Reference your inventory at the same time to ensure accuracy.
Prepare for collection day:
Weigh all boxes, bags and suitcases individually on bathroom scales to ensure they are under our limit of 30kg/66lbs. If one is too heavy, transfer some items to a lighter container.
For a happy collection day experience, move your luggage delivery as close to your building's entrance as possible the night before.
It was a smooth and reasonably simple delivery process. Seven Seas Worldwide was always at the end of the phone, happy to help no matter what the question. I would highly recommend this company, and if I need to ship again, I would use them without question.
