Our international shipping company can provide sturdy boxes to protect your possessions. Made from double-walled, chemically-strengthened cardboard, our most popular containers are Large and Standard. See below for the exact dimensions. It's a good idea to overestimate how many you need. We'll then collect any unused boxes that remain in brand-new condition for free.

Tips for packing your shipment to send to Italy
We highly recommend using a professional packing service to ease some stress. Otherwise, take your time and follow our top packing tips below. For even more in-depth guides, check out How to choose a box for shipping and Preparing large items for collection.
Secure your boxes:
Gather all your packing materials together, like parcel tape and a knife. Secure your box's base by folding in the small flaps, then the large flaps and sealing them with three layers of overlapping parcel tape.
Cover exposed edges with more tape, then wrap around the base of your box. Once your container's full, seal the lid in the same manner.
Be careful with fragile goods:
Use bubble wrap on every item and at least two layers for delicate or valuable goods. Place heavy items along the bottom of your box and lighter things above and away from the sides.
Fill gaps with cushioning materials like packing paper or towels. Gently shake your container. If you hear a sound, add more soft materials till it stops.
Fill in your inventory:
Log in to your online account and complete your inventory — a list of every item you're sending to Italy. Customs officials will ask to see it, so please ensure accuracy.
With a marker pen, write the job number, box number, and shipment owner's destination country and city on two sides of every container. Double-check with your inventory as you write to ensure all details match.
Prepare for collection day:
For the safety of you and our driver, the weight limit of each container is 30kg/66lbs. Weigh all boxes, bags and suitcases individually on bathroom scales. If one goes over the limit, take out some items and place them in a lighter container.
For a happy collection day, move everything you're sending as close to your building's entrance as possible the evening before.
I fell in love with Seven Seas Worldwide's services when I moved to Italy to study. The service is one of the best, with time-specific collection and delivery slots. In other cities, you may need to take a day off to do that. The move was smoother and faster than expected. I also love that there is a multilingual phone helpline. There is also clear guidance on what to do if you need to apply for customs clearance.
