Our experienced international delivery experts take care of customs inspections in Macau. But there are some import regulations you should be aware of.
Like all nations, Macao has banned specific goods to protect its people and the environment. To avoid delays or charges, it is essential to reference our Prohibited Goods page as you pack your delivery shipment.
Log into your online account and complete the following necessary declaration forms:
- An inventory listing each container and item you're shipping. Customs officials will see this, so accuracy is essential.
- Optional insurance forms for extra cover — peace of mind in the rare chance your goods become lost or damaged.
- Colour scans of the shipment owner's passport picture and signature pages.

Our 4-step packing guide for shipping internationally
We recommended hiring a professional packing service to help ease some stress. Otherwise, take your time, pack carefully and follow our handy guide below. For even more comprehensive advice, check out How to choose a box for shipping and Preparing large items for collection.
Secure your boxes:
Gather all your packing materials, such as parcel tape and a knife. Fold in the small flaps, then the large flaps of your box and seal them shut with three layers of overlapping tape.
Cover exposed edges with more tape, then wrap all around the base of your box. Once full of possessions, seal the lid using the same process.
Be careful with delicate items:
Use bubble wrap on all items and two layers for fragile goods. Place heavy items at the bottom of your box and lighter effects above and away from the sides.
Fill gaps with cushioning materials like packing paper or hand towels. Give your container a little shake. If you hear a sound, add more cushioning materials.
Fill in your inventory:
Log in to your online account and complete your inventory — a list of every item you're shipping. Customs officials will request it, so accuracy is a must.
Write the job number, box number, and shipment owner's destination country and city on two sides of each container using a marker pen. Double-check with your inventory to ensure all details match.
Prepare your shipment for collection:
No container may exceed a weight of 30kg/66lbs for your and our driver's safety. Weigh all boxes and bags on bathroom scales. If one exceeds the limit, remove items until it is safe to lift.
To ensure a happy collection day, move all your luggage as close to your building's entrance as possible the night before, ready for delivery to Macau.
The entire delivery experience was seamless and easy. The consultants were helpful and gave prompt responses — everything just gets sorted. Live tracking is a very nice feature. The drivers were very friendly and helpful. It was a really great experience. I can certainly recommend Seven Seas Worldwide.
