Our robust shipping boxes protect your items

Our international luggage delivery company offers sturdy boxes to safeguard your home items during long distances. Made from double-walled, chemically-strengthened cardboard, the most common sizes are Large and Standard (see below for exact dimensions). Overestimate how many you need, and we'll collect any unused delivery boxes still in brand-new condition for free.

Specially-shaped containers made from the same quality cardboard are available for musical instruments and sporting goods. Prepare them securely, and we'll safely box them at our closest depot.

You may use your own containers. However, please avoid using laundry bags, plastic crates, used food boxes and bin liners. Such weak containers will likely break and damage the rest of your delivery shipment.

Safely pack your items with our 4-step guide

We highly advise hiring a professional packing service to ease some of the stress of sending a delivery overseas. Otherwise, take your time and follow our step-by-step tips below. For more in-depth guides, reference How to choose a box for shipping and Preparing large items for collection.

Secure your delivery boxes:

Bring together your packing materials, like parcel tape and a knife. Secure the box's base by folding in the small flaps and then the large flaps, then seal them with multiple layers of overlapping parcel tape.

Cover any exposed edges with more tape, then wrap all around the box's base. Once full, similarly seal the lid.

Be careful with fragile goods:

Use bubble wrap on everything and several layers for delicate/valuable goods. Put the heaviest items at the bottom of your box and lighter things above and towards the centre.

Fill gaps with soft materials like packing paper or hand towels. Give your container a little shake — if it makes a sound, add more soft materials till it stops.

Complete your online inventory:

Log in to your online account and complete your inventory, a list of everything you're sending. Norwegian customs officials will have access, so please ensure accuracy.

With a marker pen, write the job number, box number, and shipment owner's destination country and city on two sides of all containers. Reference your inventory at the same time to ensure all details match.

Enjoy a smooth collection day:

For your and our driver's safety, the max weight of each container is 30kg/66lbs. Weigh all boxes, bags and suitcases one at a time on bathroom scales. If one exceeds the limit, remove some items and put them in a lighter container.

For an easy collection day experience, move your entire delivery shipment as close to your building's entrance as possible the night before.

Seven Seas Worldwide were very helpful. They were easy to contact and maintain contact with, and the staff were friendly. I had no problems at all. A very good delivery experience all round. I would definitely recommend their services. Best priced, too!
