What kind of international shipping boxes do we offer?
Our international shipping company provides containers to protect your personal effects during long journeys to the Philippines. Made from double-walled, chemically-strengthened cardboard, our most popular boxes are Large and Standard (exact dimensions below). Order more than you need, and if you have any unused containers in brand-new condition, we'll collect them for free.
Specially-shaped containers made from the same materials are available for guitars, surfboards, etc. Before collection, wrap these goods thoroughly. We'll then take them to our nearest depot and securely box them before shipping.
You can use your own containers. But please avoid laundry bags, plastic crates, used food boxes and bin liners. Such containers break easily and could damage the rest of your belongings. Would you like to send large household goods like furniture and kitchen appliances? If so, our overseas removals service, the MoveCube®, is your most cost-effective option.

What kind of tax and customs considerations should I be aware of?
We make shipping luggage internationally to the Philippines straightforward by handling customs inspections. But there are some regulations you should be aware of.
Like the rest of the world, the Philippines has country-specific restrictions to protect its people and the environment. Please reference our up-to-date Prohibited Goods page to avoid packing restricted items.

- An inventory itemising everything you want to send. Philippine government officials will see this, so accuracy is crucial.

Send boxes and bags worldwide with our 4-point packing guide
Consider hiring a professional packing company to ensure your belongings arrive unscathed. Otherwise, give yourself plenty of time and follow our handy guide below.
For more detailed packing advice, check out our How to choose a box for shipping and Preparing large items for collection pages.
Secure your boxes:
Gather all your packing materials, including parcel tape and a knife. Secure the base of your container by folding in the small flaps, then the large flaps and sealing them shut with three layers of overlapping parcel tape.
Cover exposed edges with more parcel tape, then wrap around the bottom of your box. Once full, seal the lid using the same process.
Be extra-cautious with fragile goods:
Use bubble wrap on all items and several layers for delicate goods. Place the heaviest items along the bottom of your box and lighter things on top and away from the sides.
Fill gaps with soft materials like packing paper and towels. Give your container a gentle shake. If anything moves, add more soft materials until it stops.
Complete your online inventory:
Log in to your account and fill in your inventory — an itemised list of everything you are sending. Philippine customs officials will see it, so accuracy is a must.
Using a marker pen, write the job number, box number, and shipment owner's destination country and city on two sides of each container. Double-check with your inventory before writing.
Prepare for collection day:
The maximum each container may weigh is 30kg/66lbs for your and our driver's safety. Weigh all your boxes or bags on bathroom scales. If a container is over the limit, move some items to a lighter box.
Finally, for a smooth collection day experience, move all your containers as close to your building's entrance as possible.
