Ship overseas using our trusted golf club shipping services

Shipping golf clubs at the airport alongside your other baggage can be a challenging experience. We'll come to your door, collect your golf bag and box it at our closest depot. How to prepare golf clubs for shipping

Our overseas shipping and delivery experts make sending golf clubs stress-free. As part of our Boxes and Bags Worldwide shipping service, we'll collect your golf bag and clubs from your home and take them to our closest depot. From there, we'll pack them into one of our double-walled, chemically hardened cardboard boxes and ship them to your destination country.

But there are a few essential things you must do when preparing golf clubs for collection:

  • Thoroughly clean and dry your golf clubs and bag (Seven Seas Worldwide doe not endorse these products.) Pay close attention to the bottom of your bag where mud is likely to have built up. Cleaning well ensures you have clean clubs on arrival. If we receive any part of your equipment unclean, you will incur a cleaning charge. Plus, if a quarantine agent finds organic matter during inspection, it could lead to fines and delays.
  • Wrap the heads of your clubs in paper and then protective materials such bubble wrap or towels.
  • If possible, remove the heads from their shafts and place them inside protective head covers. Remember to mark their setting on the shaft with coloured tape to assist in reassembly. Then, place them inside your golf bag.
  • Measure your golf bag's height, width and depth to ensure it fits inside the box. The maximum accepted measurements are 129cm height, 33cm depth and 48cm width.

While not a professional packing service, our experienced depot staff will securely box your golf club bag. We begin by covering the top and bottom of your bag with multiple layers of bubble wrap and sealing them in place with parcel tape. Next, we gently place the golf bag into the box, and fill any gaps with more bubble wrap until it can't move.

Thoroughly clean and dry your golf clubs and bag. Doing so ensures you have clean clubs on arrival and helps our depot staff successfully box your bag.

Customs rules when sending golf clubs overseas

Thanks to a worldwide network of depots, our shipping company offers a complete door-to-door collection and delivery service. As a result, in most countries where we operate, this includes customs clearance for your golf clubs. But there are some essential customs rules you should be aware of.

Each country has its own import regulations, which are liable to change. Please reference our Prohibited Goods page before booking for the most up-to-date information.

Then, log into your online account and complete the following:

  • An inventory listing everything you are shipping. Customs officials will have access to it, so accuracy is essential.
  • Optional insurance forms for peace of mind in the rare case your golf clubs suffer loss or damage.
  • Colour scans of the shipment owner's passport picture and signature pages.

I shipped three boxes and golf clubs from Australia to the UK. I expected not to see the boxes for months, but they came quicker than expected. I called Seven Seas Worldwide's customer service with lots of questions, and the staff were always happy to help. The online system was easy to use. There was no damage to our belongings. I'm very impressed.

FAQs about our golf club shipping service

We can control shipping overheads since we own and operate a worldwide network of depots. Grab a quick quote now for a competitive cost, depending on how soon you need your golf clubs, your budget, and your origin and destination addresses.

As experienced luggage delivery experts, we consider everything to support our customers. You can store your golf clubs for free for 4 weeks in most worldwide destinations where we operate. If you want to add storage time for a small fee, let us know more than 24 hours before your golf clubs are collected.

The delivery time depends on a few factors, such as your origin and destination addresses and preferred shipping method. Sending your golf clubs by sea is cheaper and better for the environment as it has a smaller carbon footprint but takes a little longer. Air shipping gets your golf clubs to their destination faster, which is ideal if you have a bigger budget.

We love our golf clubs dearly. After all, they help make us the players we are! Consider one of our comprehensive insurance options to cover your precious clubs in the rare chance they suffer damage or are lost. Plus, you can monitor their worldwide location using our online tracker.

Yes! Please double-check with your hotel or B&B that they accept deliveries on your behalf. If so, you can use their address as your destination address.
